These Beauty Products Are Your Musthave Essentials During The Festival Days — According To These Belgian Make-Up Artists.
June is the month were the party starts. Festival season is officially opened and people are ready to create new memories surrounded with friends, music and a new summer drink.
According to the weather forecast Belgium expecting a heath wave next week, and for us ladies it isn’t always the most ideal situation when it comes to make-up.
But what do we do when we feel like our make-up is starting to fade away or we have a skin issue? You don’t bring all your beauty products with you and what if you want to do a quick fix when you are in the middle on a meadow?
That’s why we asked our Belgian Make-up artists and beauty bloggers which products they cannot miss during the festival season.
They suggest easy, quick and budget proof items that will come in handy in the next couple of weeks and during summer.
“There are two products that I take with me to every festival. First up: the MAC Fix Plus is ideal to use as skin product — moisturizer with cucumber extract and vitamins, this hydrates your skin very well. — and as a setting spray, in this way your make-up sets for the whole day and it is refreshing when the temperatures are rising!
Second up is: Concealer. My favorite is the infallible concealer by L’Oréal.
With a bit concealer under your eyes and to cover up red spots in your face you look brighter right away!”

“The one thing you will always find in my handbag when on a festival is a matte stick. My skin gets oily very fast. You can bring this stick with you everywhere, and use it at each time. Just apply it on your face and you are good to go!
I prefer the Pore-less blur and matte stick by Clarins, this one is very good and budget proof!”

“Let me think… the repair serum of Likami: the ultimate product for festival. A couple of drips in the morning on your face, gives your skin extra nutrition and it is something you can use since drinking a lot of alcohol during a festival dries out your skin. Beside that, when you have lack of sleep, it repares little lines and the bags under your eyes. Win-win.
The Strobe Cream by MAC: a good hydrating cream but a béautiful highlighter for the face because of the spacy glow it has. It gives you a fresh look.
The waterproof mascara Monsieur BIG by Lancôme (the blue one is waterproof)
Last but not least the refreshing/hydrating spray by Mario Badescu: you can use this 24h as refresment but also as settingspray.
So there you go, that are my favorite products!”
