Where Do We Go First?
Whether you live close to the big city or you want to get out for the weekend — whatever your plan is, you will never get bored in Amsterdam. Something we don’t have to explain anymore but still like to highlight.
You do need a guide line because where do you start? This city guide will continue being refreshed because like you we never get bored with this place, and we like to inspire you constantly.
Remember that you make your trip as expensive as you want, either way we show you the perfect balance in between both places. We only recommend places we have been our self, so we can recommend them on a very personal level.
STAY
Olympic Hotel
This hotel is beyond beautiful and perfect located. Price wise it is very doable, you pay less than €100 per night and in exchange you get a lovely room with a rain shower and a memorable view.
It’s in the South of Amsterdam — easy to park your car, you have a tram stop close nearby that takes you within 20 minutes to the city center. While you are on your way you pass by the area ‘De Pijp‘ this is also a very nice location to get off and explore.
small note:
€20 per night to park your car
€8,00 tourist tax

BREAKFAST
Pluk Amsterdam
The perfect place to get your maple syrup pancakes of French toast, they are delightful! Of course, they also offer bowls, salads and other lunch but the breakfast on above photo is just what you need on a sunny morning.
One of the two places is located in the ‘9 straatjes‘, so after breakfast you can dive into the most lovely fashion boutiques.
I do have to say, I really liked the place — also with the open kitchen and the moment you walk in it feels like you are in candy land, but it doesn’t look like a 100% on how you expect it seeing it on Instagram.
But what’s the point? I would definitely would go back
