Good food is good mood they say! Well they have a point and when it’s a 100% vegetarian… it makes it all ten times better.
Alexandra the master mind behind this delicious kitchen and her daughter Michelle (read: guys, you are meeting the family right now) are working 6 out of the 7 days in this ‘pop-up’ place.
The reason why I call it a “place” is because De Groene Chef is a part of Bank 15. A concept that has been made up by a couple of gratuated students who turned an old bank into this amazing creation.
On the ground flour you will find three different kitchens where you can have finger food with a drink but you can also enjoy a dinner meal.
So one of them is the kitchen of my family, I maybe joined a TV program where I needed to cook a menu but my parents so did not pass me their gene of culinary arts.
The whole family runs it except for me… really?

Over the weekends the Bank organizes evenings with a live DJ and great parties.
The first floor is filled with art, clothing, the toilets are full with drawing by artists, … a lot to see, that’s for sure!
Alexandra lived in Norway and Sweden for a couple of years where she learned all the in’s and out’s about vegan food. Guys, I can tell you one thing, this food is so much worth the visit.
The dishes are filled with vitamines and a lot of flavors, You won’t miss the animal products for a second.
