💘FIRST KISS 💘: Lara Jean + Peter

It keeps on raining in Belgium — which means you don’t always like to get out of the house. Of course, one of the first things that comes to our mind is ‘Netflix and chill’. Asking your friends if they have some recommendations to watch, as series or documentaries, I think that it is something we all have in common.

Lately some people asked me what I watch on Netflix, if you like to laugh, series you don’t need to worry if you get distracted by your phone or work, alternately with some real life series than you should continue reading!
Netflix refreshes their website once in a while, so I made a list with programs I have watched lately.

LET’S STAY IN

SERIES

  • ATYPICAL
This is about the 18 year old Sam Gardner who has an autism spectrum disorder. He tries to function and to do all the things other people do. Not only Keir Gilchrist (Sam) will make you laugh, you get the chance to understand people with this disorder.
  • QUEEN OF THE SOUTH
If you are into crime drama this is the one you should go for. It all starts with the poor women Teresa who is money laundering in the streets. One day she fells in love with someone of a big drug cartel.
Until one day she gets a phone call and her whole world changes… This series is really unexpected and keeps you on your toes.
  • GRACE & FRANKIE
At first, I really didn’t like it, so I didn’t give it a chance. A couple of weeks ago I had nothing to watch, so I gave it another try. I am happy I started this because Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin talk about topics we don’t discuss enough and topics we are afraid of. (Aging, falling for the same gender etc) but it comes with the most hilarious twists.
  • AJ AND THE QUEEN
A real feel good series – who doesn’t like to watch RuPaul and his adventures?
  • SCREAM
This is something else, it is not what you think and what you know from the early days. This series comes with expecting moments and it may let you jump out of your chair.
  • FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE
Another no-brainer, this series only has 8 episodes from 30 minutes. 6 friends from college who are growing up together and find themselves in all typical situations.

REALITY / DOCU

  • STYLING HOLLYWOOD
If you are in to fashion and styling as I am, be aware of binge watching. Follow the famous Jason Bolden in his daily life filled with incredible designer creations, stress and glamorous moments.
  • NIGHT ON EARTH
I haven’t seen this yet — but they go into animals nightlife with highest qualified equipments.
  • CHEER
When you think you know what hard work is, then watch these kids. They are incredible talented, and fight for their goals.
If you have prejudices about cheerleading than you really should watch this show, it will change your whole opinion.
  • MISS AMERICANA
Taylor Swift comes out with her documentary  it will take away all your judgmental thoughts and learn that media does a lot of mean things to people.

  • CONVERSATIONS WITH A KILLER: THE TED BUNDY TAPES
The wind flew over this topic already, but I notice a lot of people watched the movie with Zac Efron. Take your time to watch these series where you experience the real Ted Bundy and his mind.
