London, probably one of your TOP 3 cities you want to visit, just like me.
So that’s what I did, booked some train tickets with a friend and off we go.
Everyone knows that London is all about fashion, so of course you can imagine I didn’t know in time where to look.
But fashion cities offers more than only fashion luckily.
One tip, if you are visiting London for the first time and it’s not only for a shopping spree, don’t forget to bring some comfortable shoes, you will need it!
So we catched up with the London history, visiting the Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Museum of London, …
Visited the London Bridge Experience, let me say this was more scary then the London Dungeon, I kind of felt like Andy, producer at the Ellen Show. Trying to be a tough girl but already scared from a guy that came around the corner, we weren’t even inside yet.
But not to forget the food, yes, there was a lot of food in those four days.
So here a pitstop with a list of hotspots that I really think it’s worth the visit when you’re going to the heart of the UK.
I am in LOVE with this place, in for a real English breakfast with the beans and sausage or do you prefer English pancakes? You can eat it all here.
With a cozy interior and a XL choice in juices this is really a place you should visit.
Like I said on my Instagram account I would move to London for this place.
There are several places but we went to the one in South Kensington, if you are done with breakfast this area has a lot of great places to visit.
SOUTH KENSINGTON 1-3 Pelham Street, London, SW7 2ND – Tel. 0207 589 3511
Visiting London you have to try some Fish&Chips, yum!
We went to Golden Union, this is a easy place for quick bite, we had plans with friends so we didn’t want to spend to much time on dinner.
Beside the Golden Union you should definitely try Poppies Fish & Chips, very populair!

This place is so worth the try! I love the concept, lovely service and delicious food!
Fun thing aside, it isn’t too expensive.
They have three places so you have a good shot on a table.

Street food markets
There are a lot of markets but also street food markets, they are worth the visit. When you need some sugar after a long day or just to eat something delicious. I couldn’t help myself, I just needed this delicious red velvet cake!
Drake & Morgan
This place is something fancy! The interior is incredible and the food is just perfect. To be honest the portions aren’t oversized but the ingredients you get on your plate are heaven. We went to this restaurant just before we went back to Belgium.
Ending in style right?
So we spend 1 day at shopping, my bank account couldn’t handle more then that since there is so much to see!
We went to Oxford street and the side streets to view the Karl Lagerfeld, Gucci and all the other incredible stores.
There was so little time to see all the rest in other places.
Maybe this is such a cliché, but well I like them!
You cannot visit London without going to Nothing Hill, the colored houses make you so happy (#housegoals).
The area is kind of crowded, the main street but when you walk into the little streets you see such a different picture.
I am in love.
Like I said, so much to do so little time.
Convent Garden is also a place that is totally worth to see, the park in the area of Buckingham Palace for those who like to see the famous squirrels.
For a drink in the evening, don’t forget that they close really early. +/- 11 P.M.
We went to Cahoots! This place stays open until 1 P.M. and it is such a fun bar to have a drink.
If you ever visit London with my tips, feel free to let me know! I’m wondering what you think about these places.
